Hi guys I've gone and spent a fortune on micro jigs, plastics and a kick ass jigging combo but I can't catch a damn thing on them, any tips as my Mrs is cleaning up on bait (and letting me know about it) while I try to persevere with my new gear?

Where abouts do you jig? The last 3 times I've been out at North Gutter I've out fished her bait with my small metals. Also, do you drift while jigging and your Mrs uses the bait, or at anchor?

Re: Micro jigging
Hi lats, mainly at north gutter too and some of the harbour reefs where I anchor. I do go well with metal slices on a drift out there at north gutter but mainly on pelagics, I'm trying to target reefies though and it's getting frustrating

It's a recipe I haven't unlocked out in the gutters either but if you see anything written by a Peter Zeroni, read it. He often does the mack and goldies double on metals. Also read anything on this site by agent86. He uses octo jigs a lot with great success
