If true, this is a good example of why there is NO CASE for fishing licences. The money is already out there, governments are rolling in it, but so much gets wasted by cronyism and incompetence.
The good MPs of Tasmania have just accepted a 10% pay rise while the rest of Australia faces job cuts and a downturn due to the crash in commodity prices, seems the government walks a different beat to the rest of us.

Yeah just like the SA pollies who gave themselves a ludicrous pay rise because they lost their travel benefits. Imaging getting a 60K pay rise!!! nice hey and just before Xmas.
