Finally "finished"

Post by deepblack »

Hey all,
Finally finished the mods for the time being, so in addition to a new padded casting deck with under floor storage for an esky, anchor locker and two tackle lockers there is also a drop in padded deck extension and an 8 rod locker. Fished out of it a couple of times since the rod locker went in now and it's a pleasure to fish out of now with plenty of storage and alot less hassle in terms of getting ready for trips
Cheers,
John.

Good stuff John. The front casting deck extension makes it look like an aircraft carrier with all that extra room. Gotta love the rod racks.

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words Guys,
I have you to thank for the inspiration for the deck extension Warren, like yours though I don't know how much it will actually get taken out.
Mick, yes, all my work. I have a Lincoln 160 mig with a dedicated roll feed gun that's done a few boats now. I'm also lucky enough to have access to a
guillotine and bender. The rod locker took a bit of figuring out to be able to still fit a couple of 7 foot spin rods whilst not being able to have a door that long.
Opening down rather than up also seems to definately be the way to go too for anyone considering one.
Cheers,
John.
