I know its 2016 but I would just like to share with you guys and reflect last year a couple of trips down to Buff Ck with the kids produced some good fish.
We manly use live prawns that we catch in the cast net around the edges of the back..... so the third pic is my Beautiful girl Ava and her PB barra. he got this beauty just on the turn of the low tide just floating a live prawn around the rock bar she pulled it in and to date is her biggest fish and yes that is nail polish on her fingers Avas fish measured 53 under size but what a bit of fun for her.
the second picture is also at low tide just at the turn on the same rock bar but different day. My Boy maxi was fishing with live mullet also floating around on a float at a depth of about 1 mtr when he hooked up his nice solid barra that he pulled in himself which measure 57cm just over and was released to fight another day.
the first pic is me with my biggest barra for 2015 also caught on low tide at Buff ck but caught on a Zerek tomato coloured shrimp just up from the rock bar she measured 86cm and was sent back to the depths for another lucky fisho to catch.
I know they are not monsters but its the memories that my kids will have for ever, and also makes me happy when I see the smiles on my kids faces when they reel in their own fish......I cant believe that we can still just go down the road and catch awesome fish like this.

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!
