I dont see why you cant take all the necessary photos on site and throw it in the esky. Probably keep the tag in place. Then when got reception send all the photos and call them. Just means you have to bring a whole fish home

Do we know then if any meterys or near meterys where tagged, as I sure that would be poor form to bring one of those girls home. If at all it would fit in your eski.......

This would most probably be the way in which you have to claim your prize. Though, not too catch and release orientated is it?Lats wrote:I dont see why you cant take all the necessary photos on site and throw it in the esky. Probably keep the tag in place. It wouldn't be unreasonable to think that some larger fish have been tagged for this competition. It would be poor form to bring home a big girl however under current legislation, it's not illegal to have one 90cm+ barra in your possession. So really, the competition is operating within all legal boundaries.ADRNLN wrote:Do we know then if any meterys or near meterys where tagged, as I sure that would be poor form to bring one of those girls home. Re: FFF's Million Dollar Fish tips
From what I heard, the biggest fish tagged was a 104.

If you had a 90+ fish in the esky and then you caught that 104 with the tag in it, the 90+ would be going for a swim

Re: FFF's Million Dollar Fish tips
need to read the rules again guys , no undersize fish have been tagged .
and yes if you are remote without reception you can download pics when in range.
Tags have to be left in the fish till capture is confirmed. so you have to keep the fish .
So this really isn't a catch and release comp ,,,as many boats won't have the ability
to keep a barra alive till they get back into range , ,,
Wonder what a $ 1,000,000 fillet taste's like,,, Might do it up in a nummis

Mmmm.... million dollar fillets
I for one will neck anything with a red tag lol. Seriously it may be considered poor form and I wouldnt do it under normal citcumstances but I aint taking the risk of something not being paid out. Think I wouldnt let the thing leave my side until I had the cash...
Seriously boys a million dollars. And you mob are concerned about what its connected too lol
Reckon you could strap it to a croc and il id still have a go at it

I think that for most fishos, if they found one of those $10k tags stuck in a koala, they'd put Blinky Bill in the eskie
