FFF Seadogs - Round 8 - Salmon and Barra ... kicks off tomorrow

Entries on this thread.

Been some great fish coming out of the estuaries, no need to travel to the rivers for this round. Good luck

57cm from SWA using classic F18, lots of smaller fish around at the moment, the big ones shouldn't be too far away!

Is it just me or has the average size of the SWA fish got smaller over the last couple of years. I used to often get 80cm + fish but haven't done that well on bigger size fish there for a while.

Nice fish Jack, you are doing better than most.

Was thinking this the other day. I've noticed from pictures crossing my desk over the years that there have not been as many big fish. About 15 years ago the rocky area just downstream from the Narrows (west bank) produced some crackers, including 1.2m+ fish, also Lance Butler was catching some stonkers out there.

FFF Seadogs - Round 8 - Salmon and Barra - Day 23 ... saltwater baz should be firing on all cylinders now
