A friend and I decided to have a go chasing tuna in the harbour yesterday afternoon, after cruising up and down without seeing one bird or any signs of surface action we decide to change plans. We headed to one of his secret jewfish spot to try to catch a Jew or two at the bottom of the tide and it didn't take long before we were pulling Jews left, right and centre the only problem was they were all around 35cm long
so to save some bait for when their parents arrive we started using gulps which kept us entertained for an hour or so. After they stopped biting we went back to baits and within five minutes I was hooked on to something big, I didn't realise how big until we had it on the brag mat. That fish was the only one for the night but I was ok with that as I don't think my back could of handled another one
