I always found the best way to get trevs was to go on a dedicated goldie mission, bwahaha

Awesome pics guys. got me rigging the gear up prematurely. Vernons sound like my easiest shot. Might be heading out there this weekend. Not sure if i'll skip over for a day trip or launch at leaders and sleep on the beach. either way will be fun 8)

Smiths Reef isn't fishing great at the moment, probably the worst I have seen it, would be a waste of time to head out there.

Sorry about the pic, here's a nice brassy I got recently in Anson Bay.
Great fun on the light spin rod in about 6 foot of water.
Went 93cm to the fork - my best yet.

I went there around May and everything got destroyed by sharks within seconds of the hookup.
