El Nino

Post by Matt Flynn »

The 2015 Wet horse has bolted, but it looks like being an El Nino year.

Hopefully things will change before the next Wet ... http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/enso/

It's a shame big mackies don't get as many likes on FB as big barra :catch:

Need it to flip over to a La Nina. Might have to start the rain dances early.

It's a two year cycle so unlikely it will be any better next wet season.

Yes, I agree, the El Nino was evident last year, there is still a chance it might flip to a better situation.

El Nino is cr.p down here too, it brings bushfires ...

It's not good, that's for sure. The North needs a decent Wet.

Hi there,

So what does it means exactly for Darwin?
Are we going to have some rain?
Are we going to be dry as?
Are we going to get some massive cyclones?

What is a typical El Niño in Darwin?

Have a good day,
Pecheur
