Jewfish will not be in any one place all the time. Not even on the most famous of jew marks around Darwin. Divers will tell you that they can be all over a wreck one day and gone the next

Sewerage pipe comes out near those containers I think. I wouldnt eat fish from there. And it is a known good jew mark. Hard to get them away from the containers though

dint know about the poop pipes, never got a jew there but have got alot of goldys and a few cobe mid water

Those containers are a well know Jewie wreck. I caught afew Jews there over the years but never anything else so youre doing well to pick up goldies. Like all the wrecks in the harbour they get hammered so it's more miss then hit nowadays.

fair enough think ill go hit a few marks i got around razor back, i guess eventually the jew will be there

I'm with Matt and Lats, I've caught plenty of big jew in the harbour (and out wide) but this year I've only caught a couple of little ones in Bynoe. I spent last Saturday at the Adelaide River hole for donuts, hammered the Larrakeyah grounds last month for the same result, and fished the six mile on both big and small tides this dry.

I'll be happy when the weather warms up, so far since the end of March all I have to show for about 150 litres of fuel is a 45cm mangrove Jack.

Enjoyed every minute of it tho, and still learning stuff about the harbour 15 years on. As everybody above has said, you just have to do the yards. As for the forum not helping, I beg to differ. I've received a lot of help from here over the years and will always be happy to pay it back. You joined yesterday FFS, and cant understand why people dont bend over backwards and hand over their marks???
