me and my friend just hooked two fish in broad day light on poppers in the bottom lake! god got so many ideas! gunn lakes are a very hard place to fish .you have to spend a lot of time there .i have learnt the where abouts of the holes rock bars and flats in these lakes.beware the ferals in there tho i fear they are making a rise goldies ,oscars and carp . yucky fish! another cool thing about the lakes is the fact that there are toga's in there released from tanks n stuff. if you are to target sooties in there you may aswell pack your barra gear !me and my mate spotted one no joke 70cm! very black. if you happen to see me fishing, little guy trying to catch little fish come say hi!
best of luck to lake fishos ! and remember....BEWARE THE FERALS!!!! :o

yes lots of redclaw :lobster: ...do not eat them tho .council just very recently put signs up about not consuming aquatic life from the lake .they are very good for livies in there .especially if you want sooties use the smaller red claw.
if you wish to keep your traps make sure you hide the line or :lolpoint:
