Check out the OMM range as well mate....similar......and very nice.

Also have a look at Vindicator boats.......AMM, OMM and Vindicator all look very good and quite similar.

Got a mate has a 7.4 AMM. Well made, strong as boat. Excellent to fish out of. He is wrapped in it. Also check out the white pointer, Un Zed made, boats. Fished out of an 8m in bay of plenty ,NZ,in some rough swell for four days and found it a really dry comfy boat.

Trev, I fish out of a 6.4m AMM walkaround regularly and it's damn hard to fault. great build quality!

If your looking at the plate boats discussed from SE QLD I have had 5 years in a reble walkaround that is about 8 meter OA that's gone we'll and been as good as any I have been in,very sea kind and survived a storm of Armageddon proportions along the way at the banks plus I think they are a bit less coin than the ones you mentioned jimmy has has quite a few runs on it without compliant so far. It's 15 years old now and has a lot of bark off but if you want to have a look your welcome to. The brother in law has had a bit smaller cuddly cabin in Townsville for a couple of years and is happy as well but his is only around 6.5 meters

8m diesel inboard, Trevor. Volvo penta I think. Unbelievable fuel economy and the finish of the boat is 2nd to none, IMO. Another mate has a 7.4 sports cruiser with a 300 verado on the back We fished in the white pointer challenge at Waihau bay,NZ in Feb. 47 boats all up and some very happy owners. If you got the coin, they are a great boat.

For the prices you'd be looking at for a boat like that trev, it'd be hard to go past an American glass import?
Contender/yellowfin/Grady white for me next .
