just wondering if any one has a favorite lure or type of bait to use for sootys? also have heard play do works well on them ...anyone tried?

Bait - caught some stonkers on uncooked rump steak.
Lures - smallish minnows

Use to take the kids to manton crossing they got plenty on bait prawns.
Dont use the servo ones get some good quality ones, got mine from craigs
Just peal them and use the heads and shells as burly.
