took the old man and brother out Friday night for a quick bottom bash while everyone was at nitro circus. Left the trailer boat club at about 6 and was back by 11. Was pretty tough going. Nothing on the sounder at most spots but kept searching. Finally got onto a handful of Jews 30mins either side of the tide change. I got 2 measuring just over the meter mark and the old boy dropped 1. Was hoping to get a bit more but there wasn't even any little fish. Oh well.
Conditions were amazing. Absolutely no swell at all. Couldn't have asked for better conditions. Don't recon we will have many nights like that for a while as the dry comes

I should add that there was a trawler their as we arrived. They did 1 last sweep then left. Could have been why it was quiet..
