Has anyone been fishing the roper? can you get down to port roper yet? :fishy: :drinking1:

"You can get to Port Roper now but it is a bit boggy, and you can also get to Tomato Island.
"You need to be mindful that Cyclone Nathan did drop water out there and people who were caught out there choppped the road up a bit.
"The Roper River has been a bit mixed in reports and tough to a degree.
"The people who been down since the cyclone said the river was rising, after the spring tides go through and it drops out I reckon it will fire.
"It might fire during Easter but I reckon the clearer water and better fishing will be the next neaps, or possibly the neaps after that.
"Then it will be good for trolling the snags and rockbars.
"And the Limmen Bight camp is open."

Cheers, thanks for that info, sounds good as we are headed there next set of neap tides, ill post pics and info when we get back
