Just set up my new outriggers and I'm chomping at the bit to get into some bills. My goal this year is to try and crack the billfish code around here. Never fished for them up here so need to learn whats happening. Anyone seen any sails around lately? Any other advice that you guys that chase them regularly would like to part with i'm all ears. I've caught a few small blacks down south so have a fair working knowledge but definitely have a lot to learn.

Check the lumps between Sail and Blaze. They've been around there the last few days. Long Lost is alive with bait as well. Plenty of Booby birds around as well in that area.

Anyone chasing outriggers, I just bought some that fit in your rod holders from 'escapin tackle'. $350 delivered for the whole setup. Arrived 4 days after ordering! Cheap setup for anyone in a tinny thats wants to expand their options.

How did you go chasing bills? Raise any ?

Heading out Nth gutter way tomorrow to have a look at whats around. Any body been out that way recently? Haven't been out since November so it will be interesting to see if theres any bait about. Will post results...

Saw two sails free jumping off sail city yesterday. Decent size about them. Also had a mate wide of Sail City and he said he raised a few. Not sure of exact numbers yet but they are around.

I would be interested to hear how your outriggers go MAC10.
