It's like a fishos dream... A jet ski boat! Has it got a reverse? They just need to develop an amphibious version for hunting piggy piggies...

My missus wants to buy me a GoPro...she said I need it... It's like a black box recorder for fishos...

Not bad at all.
A mate down our way built a few of these, go like the clappers....anywhere (including up the bank!...have to keep the power on to turn). Fit out for fishing was spot on with leccy and front and rear casting decks. I think i have a pic of one on my phone............how does one get a photo into a post ?

Very nice but also very dangerous in the hands of unskilled operators - very quick and if you get the COG wrong over it goes - at speed that could be very dangerous - not a jet ski that you can simply flip back over - would be awesome to get up the top of the run offs though!! Think you would get a lot of places others couldn't - as to know worries with sandbars not sure thats correct - if it is doing 90 km and hits a sandbar its going to stop same as any other boat - they won't run in nothing and if you fill the suction up with sand it is a pain in the arse.
Work is what i do to pay for fishing!!

Spoke to kiwi mate at dinner tonite about this and he said he had been in similar rigs back home and they would use to get to spots in accessible otherwise and then trout fish from banks when I mentioned trawling he said you just run a very small 10hp but I suppose a 84lb leccy would work, said they were thirsty at speed , same as any other engine I suppose

It would be great for shallow water, scary fast though. Would be fun as to try but don't like the idea of eating poop and going for a swim

Wouldn't be any good up here in the rivers though, one stick and the impeller is blocked or jammed...
