This reel is based on a Daiwa Steez and given all the goodies internally. It's the smoothest, lightest, best baitcaster reel I've ever had in my hands.

As for finely tuned piscatorial torture, I'm confused, is that a hobbie?.

They do manufacture right hand, but not this model, you'll be paying twice the price of this one though!
