Looks like I'm off the hook, i'll be going elsewhere. Somewhere closer to home and only 1% of the traffic....

It'd be worth a drive with a can of bushmans, a comfy chair and a box of beer just to eat popcorn and watch the ramp rage as the line gets longer and longer.

Just got back, do a post later. 59 boats at the mouth of sampan yesterday, more today. Yesterday only saw a handful of barra caught, a 118 and a 104 were the only meters I saw/heard of. Today a few more barra but no numbers and didn't see any big girls caught. Ramp was fine today at low tide, road was still good. Tomorrow will be mad I reckon with the crowds. With the amount of boats there you would struggle to land a horse if you hooked one, it was hard enough landing a thready without someone running over it.

I thought that would only be during the week standy maybe a couple more tomorrow. The erosion of the banks with the amount of boat traffic that is going to hit the river will widen it up.

I thought I had a good idea- tied up to a tree casting an eddy away from the crowds out the front but the amount of boat driving past at full noise creating wake after wake stirring the mud up and smashing my boat against the tree made it too hard. Got a few but nothing big
