Also did Shady today. Launched at 6:30 am with plenty of water (about 2 hours before the low). Ran straight to the mouth and we got a few hits early on and saw a few small fish caught but that was as exciting as it got. Spoke to a few boats, all reported a whole lot of nothing.
Biggest fish we saw caught was a bull shark foul hooked that would have gone around 1.2m long. It gave young Hayden a fair workout on the barra rod.

I fished shady on Saturday for one 59cm swampy. Did not see another fish landed. Not even the guys throwing the cast net around and live baiting. Threw the cast net for a good hour at the mouth. Cops should have gone down there. Bigger all colour change from the creeks right up the top too. I think it needs a lot more rain.

Fished the south yesterday for zip. A mate caught a few swampies up the top but worked hard for em. Nourlangie pumping dirty water at the junction. We only sounded a couple of fish. Needs a lot more rain as we'll.
