Quick Harbour Trip

Post by MARMO »

Had a quick run out in Darwin Harbour today with my brother to have a crack over the midday low. It was stinking hot but there was a lot of bait (and jelly prawns) around and quite a few boofs. We set up in the mouth of a creek and starting flicking soft plastics at a colour change out front of a few drains. Got this beauty after about 10 casts. Put on a good show and almost got to the magic 1m mark.We dropped a couple of smaller fish before calling it quits after the the first 1.5hrs of the incoming. 8)

Nice fish. Took my boat out this arvo, but only to test out some transducer mods... Had a troll on the south side of the lizzy river bridge, but only saw 2 fish on the sounder anyway.

The odd big fish starting to show in the harbor. Heard of at least three 80cm + fish caught recently.
