Converting waypoints
Hi does anyone know if there is a way to get waypoints from say a excel program to a sad card that a lowrance will read so I can import all my marks rather than hand type them all in one by one.
Cheers

pretty much any GPS software out there will do that. Try EasyGPS its free, also comes on the FFF card if you have that.

Re: Converting waypoints
Another way is to download Garmin base camp and create a folder. Upload all your way points into that folder in one format.then change the format and export them to the new format. That's the easy version if you are familiar with basecamp.
I do this at work frequently.
If your completely stuck and have a lot of them to do then get your sd card to me and I can do it. The cost will be me then having all your way points. A hefty price I know and I would be concerned trusting someone with this information too.
Give it a crack yourself anyway mate, its not rocket surgery.

Just worked out an other easy way to do it - GPS Visualizer.

Re: Converting waypoints
Will any of this software convert waypoints etc from Navman to GPX so it can be uploaded to the Lowrance? I couldn't seem to do it today using visualiser for the new boat, maybe I am doing something wrong...lol wouldn't be the first time
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Re: Converting waypoints
Yeah it should work no worries..if not convert them to .gpx then to .usr
The Lowrance unit should all recongise gpx anyway.
