Nice baz on a fizzer mate. Im yet to get a metery on a surface lure but have caught a 94cm at shady barrage at night on a dark moon and it also hit as i lifted the lure out of the water. Was probably the most I have poo'd my self while fishing and my mate who was standing near by went bum cheeks up at the same time from fear. Was a classic.

How common is that? At night....Hardies lagoon.....Black Bills Bug....91cm....lifting it out of the water.....BOOOOM!!
for five seconds I was sure I had been hit by a croc. Water just exploded at my feet. Held onto the rod by instinct. Was dumbarse back in those days....fishing from the bank at night. Cant believe it thinking back on it now...
