Headed out to the artificial reef again last weekend and this time took the GoPro. Turns out I'm far too lazy to use it as it was designed so I tied it on to a length of 80lb leader with a snapper lead below and threw it over the side. It was about 5 meters down and although it didn't capture any footage of the fish we caught (all strippy macs) it was interesting to see some of the fish show an interest. Turns out the moonfish had a go at it a few times but thankfully no damage was done. Plenty of big Trevally around as you will see but all very hook shy...clever buggers.
Was certainly a lovely day on the water....as most of them are!

This would have been cool out at North Gutter last weekend with all the sharks and tuna around the boat

I probably would have been a little reluctant to put the GoPro in the water with sharks around
