Mouth of south alligator.

Gidday, heading down to the mouth of south alligator for the first time this weekend. Looking at getting onto both goldies and barra. If anyone can help with a few tips would be much appreciated.

CHECK your tides...Best to follow someone out, that river changes like crazy just keep an eye on your sounder. Between Field and Baron islands watch your sounder like a hawk.
The little river on Field is wicked for the odd barra or two. Heaps of holes around, we have bagged out on snapper in 3mtrs or water and 20m. Nice jewie holes out there aswell...

Look at tides and we heading down Friday arv on the high. Come back Sunday on the incoming, eyes will be peeled for these sandbars.

Yeah I don't like venturing down there but there are plenty that do from out here, just stick to the outside of the bends and you should be right...hopefully....

Not the sand that will cause you havoc, its the bommies between Field and Baron.
