Reminder Notice
The Mary and Daly River recreational barramundi fishing seasonal closures come into effect on 1 October until 31 January. During these times, recreational fishing is prohibited on the lower Daly River downstream of Moon Billabong outlet and on the lower Mary River, downstream of the Shady Camp barrage.
The NT commercial barramundi season also draws to a close during the same period.
Anglers may be aware that the Mary River recreational fishing closure is currently under review, however it is important to note this area will remain closed to fishing pending the outcomes of this review and any subsequent legislative amendments.
