My new upgrade from the old 3.7 Edgetracker.

4.2 Mangrove Jack Side console with a 40 Etec, not too many extras yet as I still need to get down to Brisbane in the next couple of weeks to pick it up, then add a bowmount, and bigger sounder and time to test it out in the gulf so it will be ready for the QLD opening of barra season, probably just have to put up with a few reffies and pelagics till then.

Cheers Glen.

Hi all.

It's been awhile since I have been on here as I sold my old girl last year. Being boat less didn't last long though as I order my new one at the end of the year and now she's ready for delivery just in time for Easter.

Can't wait to get back on the water.. :D

launching was today,
went exceptionally well, 26knots for .8l/mile @ 3800rpm & did 41.5 full tit
arafura marine 5.8m by Jim Keane, Yamaha f200g & voyager trailer
complete fitout by me( I do all Jims boats anyway) holds 270l under floor, 60lt water, 2x hds8 with structure scan, stressfree winch, minn kota
been 6 months every spare minute between working locally, trips away for work etc
how much ? bit like asking a woman's age, don't but saved heaps by doing a lot of labour myself both fitting out & construction

other boat is my work boat, no rod holders & drinks fuel......

This is my baby, pulled to bits at the moment. But I suppose that's what's the wets for. Unfortunately done a powerhead seal but almost back together. Some people might be interested in seeing the outboard split apart. Getting more pimped on Sunday too, gotta love new accessories
