Ive got 3 chronarchs... 2 are on loomis gl3's, the other just on a barra braider... Suits me fine.

My next chronarch might go on one of those samaki rods, quite like them..
I just go to FOW, theyre awesome for rods i reckon, you can play with them all until you find the right setup..?!

I recon the g loomis gl2 aussie series is a nice little rod and not too expensive. You'll know the next rod for you when you put it in your hand.

I use a T curve inshore series (can't remember the model number). I'm not a big fan of the cork grips, the T curve has the black grips, which I prefer.

You can also try Larry Lockwood for a custom jobbie.

What is your budget? I have been playing around with some Edge Rods by Gary Loomis and they are excellent albeit mega dollars.

If you can afford a custom one then go for it ($400 would be pretty close), otherwise a GL3 Loomis are pretty damn good

Can't go pass the warranty on the st croix and they are an awesome rods. I have a couple of avids and recent got a el cheapo triumph series which is a great budget rod.

Don't take the loomis imx and gl3 out anymore but still love using the red 6'3 crank bait .

Boys above are all over it. Where ever you shop I would take your reel in and try it on various selections.

Now for a little curve ball: if you can find one (they have been discontinued) the Samurai Reaction in 382 (5'6" 12-16lb) or 351 (6'6" 10-17lb) are a sensational bit of kit. Lifetime warranty - although replacement would be on a comparative model, feather light and appealing on the eye. Probably want a Core 50 (or similar) on the 382 though. It's only money, right.........

Got a couple of IMX rods and very happy with them. Actually bought at least one from Balou a few years ago! If buying a new rod I'd go for the same or a St Croix, they both have an excellent and well deserved reputation.

Cheers
