I reckon the same species travels into the salt water, pretty widespread throughout oz too.
Used to catch them in the Swan river on fresh prawn baits, good size too up to a kilo almost.

Caught the ones in the Finniss on blades and soft plastics

Used to go right up the Swan river into the fresh, have eaten them and not too bad I reckon.
While back now though, bet they're still there

Caught them at the blue holes here as well as the harbour on soft plastics, aggressive little fish


If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!
