Its a rockodile. The mud bar sits behind it. If it was a croc the tail would be exposed.

Working in Gunbalanya today , drove over the river this morning, nothing changes. Spoke to the tourist fisho asking how quick he could run. The three on the crossing had no fear nor care about crocs. Fella on the far side was throwing a rat into the salt side after catching it from the freshwater.

Wouldn't been much difference in salinity.
