My better half suggested I name the boat Queasy after my passengers' tendency to produce berley, and figured I might as well stick with the theme....

I got Stikman as a teenager mountain biking i used to overshoot the corners and into the bush alot then one day my bike stopped between 2 trees and i got thrown into a tree and being 6'4" at 13yrs and all of 63kg they called out hey its the stick man coming out from hiding again. From that day it stuck. Now almost 20yrs later I have a 12 week old son that has the nick name TWIG son of Stikman from the day of his birth.

i know its an old post but i thought id explain myself, every friday id hand over my pay at got one in exchange for fishing gear and craig or mal would ask what did ya catch and id say.....

Originally gained it at the Crocodylus when I was working there, apparently Im a splitting image of Barney Rubble obviouslly from the flintstones...

took up a mate last trip and he caught his first barra and he crapped on abt it forever and even wrote a song abt ...as a poop stir

so i just pinched the name as a poop stir

Missus had bright red dyed hair when I started carting her out , I nick named her Blue ,been married for 37 years and it stuck like sh*t to a blanket ,even her Mother calls her Blue.
Anyway when I first got onto the internet and email I used her nick name as my email user name couldnt think of anything else at the time.
I have been using Bluey for ages , and because I'm a member of a few forums with members in all states ,and there are lots of Bluey's I added the NT.

Nickname was given to me many moons ago from cousins when i was living in Kerang Vic. sort of stuck!!

My name is because i don't own a boat and with a young family the prospects of getting one anytime soon are slim and none. So for me Land based is about the best im going to get when fishing.
