I caught one on a big live bait swimming under a float once. He swooped down on it and got tangled up and landed in the water. I brought him to the boat and threw a hessian bag over him which it grabbed with it's claws. Cut my line away and a bit of a push while I removed the bag and he sat there til he was able to take off. Maybe one way of trying to catch him?

I started with nothing! And i still have most of it left.

Tried feeding it with a couple of dead Powertail on Saturday but he was not keen to come down for a feed. Probably really scared of boats at the moment which is understandable.

Yep, poor fellas probly a bit wary now!!
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

It has lasted this long so I doubt it will survive without it's piecing now.
