Landnased Barra info

Post by Territory_Tuff »

Hey guys,

Been chasing landbased barra in usual spots and have had no sucess lately!

Just wondering what tides i should be chasing them in? And any other factors i should consider?

Cheers Fellas,

TT

Early mornings, find the calm spots around the rocks, good if you find a bit of muddy water in close with a colour change to clearer water in close, use a small lure and light fluorocarbon leader ... and follow Seano, although he has a boat now.

Different spots fish at different stages of the tide.

Incomming from the low around the coastal rocks. Out going in creeks that hold water at low. Fish the building tides as the water is clearer. A small amount of chop isnt a bad thing. If the water is too clear or calm the fish wont bite unless it is under the cover of darkness.
