Anzac day with the kids

Post by mickxx »

We were going to go somewhere for the weekend but wife got called in at double time and a half for a whole day, so took the kids down to middle arm for a quick one this morning.

few sharks
son got his first barra on a lure (52cm released of course)
101cm queenfish
decent cod

lost a few big fish, pretty sure barra by the way they scaled the mullet (20cm mullet)

first photo shows how to keep the monsters still while ur changing spots

Well done Mick. I started fishing at this age too 50+ years ago and so did my kids what a great way to spend time together and no TV and great memories. Always love the smiles. :D
