nah its always calmer once you go past Pt Blaze

Around the Perons is a great place for calm off conditions, quite often you will get easterlies meeting westerlies there and have a glass off for a few hours.

reckon it will be like that Friday arvo.

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

From what you just posted Nathan, looks like that whole area is at 0-5knots if I'm not reading it right let me know what I'm doing wrong

Hmm, not sure about it always being calmer Dennis. Try being off north Peron on a 7m tide with a south westerly wind. And getting past blaze sucks. Any way, its only wind and water. what harm can that do. lol

Yeah you're right cuddles, southwesters are a bit of a pain.

But wouldn't go there if it looked like that was happening,
I was talking mainly about the standard easterlies in the dry.

Even the westerlies don't usually get up too much except for the wet season

It's gonna be great whatever,

If it's rough I'll find a place to hide and catch powertail :-)

Got a good shower coming up the Elizabeth Sunday arvo to wash the salt off the old girl, was great.

big queenies, macks, tuna, trout, bluebone, cod, trickies, goldies, even a couple of small jewies :-)
a few lures donated...lol

might head back in a coupla weeks depending on the forecast

Second all that Denis . There was quite a bite on , first time I have ever been ice poor down that way but they hit me pretty hard the first day. Ended up heading home a bit early.

I was like a tattoo parlour giving piercing jewellery away for free!

Great trip and outstanding fishing, I'll be back for those nasty Jews sometime soon!
