Why would you think it's getting flogged Slug? Lodge wants as many there as possible. 130 plus boats a day at Easter.

We (my in laws) collected the bottles and cans again this year, we got 7000 last Easter, this Easter we got 16000. Flogged nar it's only doubled from one year to the next. Qiksix might have a point.......that's why I sold my boat last year. I just go out in the research boat now.

But DH you're full poop most the time. You've been caught out telling porkies more times then this forums had ID requests for a mother inlaw fish.

Where's the porkie there? How many of you boffins care for the environment to try and look after what we have and recycle? It not all about money and the biggest fish.

Where do you find 16000 cans/bottles at Dundee without raiding their bins? That's a ridiculous amount of p..s, 666.67 cartons to be exact

the amount of cartons isnt to unrealistic, 130 boats launched on the saturday, 3 to a boat is 400 people just in boats. carton and a half per person over 4 days is possible in the nt, if not actually probably light on :)

Don't have to raid the bins, they happily allow my inlaws to collect the recycle material. Saves them carting it and going straight to landfill.
Balou convert 16000 times 10cents to Philippine Peso and that's about 64,000 enough to buy some land. I just help out with transport.

So as Stuart pointed out 400 people fishing per day in that one area, just work out the limit possession on fish. 2000 goldies, 800 Spanish, 800 jewfish, etc etc, per day? Pillage that isn't sustainable.........

This is a hoot the way you Gen Y fellas bite, like barra fishing in the run off after the monsoon has finished in early March a fish a cast!
Giddy up.......

If you have an issue with fishing not being sustainable then quit fishing. Also to say you recycle only to help out the enviroment ..... come onmate......ya story's leaking like a siv here.

Also feel free to tell us more about your tax paid fishing trips!!

Research is suggesting unsustainability, currently drafting a White Paper. All Dundee rubbish is carted by Viola contractors to landfill at the Darwin tip site. It's not recycled one bit. Do you think I am going to keep a lously $1600 when poor people from another country would benefit?
