Cam had been asking if we could go catch some big fish and a feed was being requested from the wife so shot out and grabbed these last night.
Cobia have been going well for the last few weeks but last night was the best I had seen.
Had fish chasing up unbaited lines and almost jumping into the boat in their excitement. Awesome to see them streaking through the dul light of the headlamp by the boat.
Kept 2 and released countless others.
Now Cam wants to catch big fish all the time.

Yep, the ever reliable barge. Never missed there.
Only thing happening last night was the MILF's and the Cobia. And I didnt get a MILF so happy with that.
No bad to eat at all. Bit of a strange bone structure so after you take all the bones out you have long fingers of meat. Nice and white.
I remember that big one you got Mullaking. Saw you try to bust it off thinking it was a shark.
Mine was a bit smaller, prob 15 or 16 is my guess...
Not hearing about any jews around at the moment. This year didnt seem to happen like last year but I didnt really chase them much. I think the dredging has upset them and they have all bailed.
