I saw a post recently on here about a huge coral trout and people questioning its integridy. Coral Trout off the coral sea and in New Cledonia are regularly encountered over 20 and 25 Kilos.

Yes, they do get tha big and bigger. 35 kg coral trout have been caught on popper before and i know people who have seen 100lb trout when diving on the outer reefs of the GBR around stucko and the likes

He is a trip report from one of my mates who got back from New Cal recently on a very "slow" trip by their standards
