Gday all
Have finally convinced my dad to head North for a holiday at the start of August. He is dead keen to catch a few fish, and drink too many beers while mum is not watching.
He is an Old bushy from SA who thinks fishing is all about soaking bait and I want to show him that while catching snapper is fun, catching a big GT or run away Mack is another thing altogether.
We are planning to head West from Darwin and have look around Broome and then poke on down to Pt Hedland via 80 mile beach / Pt Smith.
I was planning on taking my boat, 4.55 Sea Jay, to give us a few more options. I havent fished over there before and I am looking for a bit of advice. We have a couple of weeks to do this so the plans are fairly flexable. Had even thought about punching through to Exmouth as another option.
