Managed to sneak out on a half day charter after working over here in Broome. We found some big macks on the chew only problem was the sharks where a bit bigger...managed to boat 3 and a half in about 30 mins trolling with the sharks winning out. Went for a reef fish and caught Bluebone, Saddle tails, Crimson Snapper, Blue lined Emperor, Rankin Cod etc and I managed a thumper trout for dinner. Had a good couple hours on the water, probably saw 20-30 Humpbacks great to see the bigger ones breaching. The best part was the Skipper gave me a run down on the local permit......Fly rod will be coming down next time for sure.
