Recent reports and sightings of tuna schools out the front of cable beach have meant forcing myself to get on the water a bit over the past 2 weeks. The fishing is getting better everyday here and several 1mtr plus Spanish and Grey Mackeral have been caught on the troll or taken ganged pillies within the last week. Building tides may have forced the fish out wide a tad as there was nothing in close at all. With the water glass most of the day trolling was on the cards but when the 7knt Easterly blew in we thought it was all over, but yet again right on sunset 'Bang' and your on this time to a nice Spaniard. This is proving rather addicitive!. Only fish for today's trip was this one

Nice mack but you really have to watchout for those really nasty 8kn easterlies. When they get up to that sort of velocity you may have to consider calling it quits for the day

Nice work Andy, looks like you've had much nicer weather than we've been getting down here. 20-30 knot easterlies have been standard for us over the past 2 months

Made it out again last Tuesday and this was the result. Water was awesome, perfect for a quick swim before managing to get two spanish in the boat. This big Mack hit a 5mtr halco, measured 127cm from nose to fork, needless to say it didn't fit in the esky! Really starting to fire up now
