I am living out these two communtiys full time now, im sure the fishing is great but was wondering if any ones got any advice or tips on area. There are poop load tidal creeks out at bidgy so looks the goods for jacks and hopefully barra. Look foward to exploring and sussing it all out , any advice or info would be great, if not there's only one way to find out :fishing:

Used to pass the turn off to Looma on the way back to Broome from Fitzroy Crossing i think?

Have you tried Langes Crossing and Willem's Pool?

Missus caught her first barra at langes, 87cm

I think the Fish Finder mag has some info thereabouts?

thanks sy i will look into those spots, yer crocs are not as thick over this way. But few locals took me mud crab hooking other day, wadeing threw the water waist deep was a bit of a concern, but had to act tuff in front of them

Mate after getting things sussed down there you wont ever want to leave. You will catch everything there except barra by the hundreds. I only fished down to cape bossut in a 4 mtr tinnie and caught everything except sails (this was before i had a problem). Only place i can say fished better was middle lagoon, only because of the access restrictions on bidgy.
