Have had the folks up for the last few weeks. Between wind and work I did manage a couple of fishing trips. The wales have arrived here in numbers and are providing plenty of spectacular highlights.

The old man managed to get himself a Mac Tuna

A mac (115cm) caught on a Halco Trembler.

Chilli mud crabs

Turquoise bay in exmouth is a great spot for a snorkel.

I had never seen an emu have a bath at the beach but I have now. Unfortunatley I was not quick enough to get him during his bath but I did get a long shot of him on his way back up the beach.

And the emu having a bath must have been a thing to see!

Those beach,s look tops, great pics. heading over to the west very soon . Might have to try and get my self sum work in exmouth, a top looking place.

nice pics mate. bet that tuna had a hook tied to its lips and was given its own swimming lesson if i know you right. hope your folks had a good time. thats the only good emu in wa. stay away from the bitter. :rofl:

That pic of torquois bay brings back a memory of a young french bloke that came out of the water walking backward with full metre long fins, a wieght belt, full blue como wetty, 1.8m triple rubber woody and a catch bag full

He got there before sun up and wander out about 8-830 just as the fisheries boys were doin their first drive by for the day

If he was standing ther nude pulling back on a crack pipe he would have fit in better

You gotta feel for them fisheries guys trying to explain what he'd done wrong

Nice spot for a dive tho
