bl..dy Territorians have got me stumped

, thought N.T. stood for Not today, Not Tomorrow, Not Tuesday, Not Thursday or that had been the experience up until recently :banghead:

Week & a bit ago I ordered an new cast net to replace the one I wrecked down the Daly during the last comp, found they don't catch snags very effectively. I'd seen on the advertising for Ezy Throw cast nets, that they should be able to deliver one in Darwin in a couple of days of ordering and being an avid FFF reader I thought I'd support one of the advertisers, also being a mexican they are a bit hard to come by down south. A few days went past and I rang my son, who the net is intended for, and found that nothing had been recieved, I sent the obligatory email through their 'system' e.g. "contact us" expecting to be fobbed off - BUGGA me as this was the reply I received within hours of the equirery :mrgreen:

Thank you for your query. We were expecting stock to arrive last week to fulfill your order, but have not yet received it at our depot. We did not expect any delay in delivery of the stock, which is why we did not contact you. This does not usually happen - we apologise for any inconvenience.

We hope to have your order despatched tomorrow, as we expect the stock to arrive today. Your order will reach Darwin by Thursday or Friday.

I will email you again with a tracking number once the item is posted. We will also contact you if there is any further delay.

Unfortunately we did not receive the stock until yesterday afternoon. We sincerely apologise for this unacceptable delay in delivery.

I have included a copy of the How To Catch Barramuni DVD (rrp $24.95), and Northern Territory Fishing Map (rrp $9.95) to compensate you.

What are these nets like?

I can't throw a standard one at all. The Ezy cast is a piece of.... Simply lay the front weights over the ring & throw like a discus. I swear by them. They don't have the larger spread (drop) that you can get in normal cast nets though.
