rocked of to buff creek last night just as the sun was going down for a flick. Didn't expect to catch anything just for a bit of rnr after my first cast i got a few hits felt like a barra over the other sided of the ramp there were barra boffing every were. i kept at it and hooked on to a rat about 40cm. but the blokes i was talking to landed a 2 around the 80 mark. must say i never thought i would ever catch 1 from the ramp will be going back for another crack soon

i was there today on the low tide flicking a little soft plastic around to fill in a few hours and caught my second ever barra caught my 1st yesterday same place same tide, both were rats first one about 30 cm and second 35-40cm. definitly understand why these fish are such a sought after catch. i was only using light gear so was heaps of fun. will have to have go one night and see if i cant catch a bigger one

Live bait is the key to that joint. Oh yeah and low tide
Caught my biggest there on a halco laser pro and dropped another metre fish on a gold bomber and my mate Dan got a metre fish on a bomber as well, AND got two one night ,both 96cm on a popper! Live bait is NOT needed down there
