Any one been out to 4 mile this year. How is the track and how long did it take to get in there from the bitumen

It would be much appreciated if you could pass the info on when you get back, I am still unsure whether the 4 mile track is opened or not regardless of what that site says, as it states the 4 mile road opened before the 2 mile road, then doesnt give any details at all. if you go sunday and confirm it is open i'll be going monday or tuesday

Went to 4 mile it is open the crossings are 750mm deep and the road is corrigated as usual .Got a few rats and my young fella got a 75cm toga, spoke to a few guys who got a few rats nothing spectacular.

Cheers mate, ended up going out today, got a bunch of rats and a couple legal fish, was pretty blowy out there, water temp 24-26 degrees. there was a pajero (i think) with no snorkel parked up with nobody around at the deeper creek crossing, must have driven on the right side of the crossing as you go in, which is deeper as Im assuming he managed to flood it.

Hey Ajay good to hear u got some fish for the effort,so the 2nd water crossing is better to stay on the left as ur heading in to four mile ? Anything to watch out for at the first crossing ?

Yeah I stick hard to the left hand side and the water doesn't come up very high at all on my hilux, which has a 2 inch lift and standard size tyres. and I haven't noticed anything to look out for at the firtst crossing.

also, we got most of our fish/hits by casting plastics to the edges of lilly clumps or clumps of weed and letting it sink all the way to the bottom before jigging it back, most hits came on the drop.
