Scammers !!!! : NT Classified Ads

Hi everyone,

I’m a bit of an online shopper and have had all type of scammer’s try to get me without success. Can I just say be careful as gumtree isn’t the only place where people try to scam you. I have had people text msg me regarding ad’s I have put up on here. DO NOT by any means pay anyone a deposit online!! Only pay cash or whatever means once you have seen and stay with the item you are buying!!!

I don’t know who it was off here but you will not scam me mate! Just a friendly warning to everyone out there. If anyone wishes to talk/ask questions about what to look out for/what scams are happening at the moment please PM me and I will help discuss more. I’m sick of hearing about people getting done by scams

Sounds like you got your finger right on the pulse there Mippa, you keep your eye on them scammers buddy you can't be too carefull these days...

Yeah mate it’s sad but you can’t trust anyone these days. I’m not worried as I’m onto the buggers but I would like to help other people who might be a bit more gullible.

Yep GumTree is bad for it. I have had a few ads on there lately and I get strange texts. I just put in the item description that texts will be ignored and deleted. Doesn't stop them but at least the "real buyers" will call.

Yeah I’ve heard some good one’s over the past few years. At the end of the day tell them to call you. No emails, no text messages. And only pay in person not online. Give the A**holes nothing!

Keep in mind too my latest ‘wanna be scammer’ came from FFF so they are everywher!!!!

Scammers....... googel pay pal scams.u,ll be shocked at what these CRETONS DO !!
