Hey Dundee Hombre d'you reckon the trickies are dropping off? Last six or so trips out I havent got one although thats mainly been around blaze and perons...maybe its just a location thing.
I would say the size is dropping off dramatically mud. But ya get that when there is 100 trailers in the park every day of the week during good weather periods.
This time of year seems to be better for other fish out there but the dry season is tricky central in my veiw. Warm water and prawn flush = goldies and jew.

Mud I seem to be getting more Trickys in close at present which is not the norm. Get them on the north side of Blaze and around Roach and Bass in close. Most of the size ones seem to come from Fog bay wide, most marks I fish are in the book. I'm still working out where Balou is going around Blaze.

Got plenty of nice trickies down Perons way last trip, was a couple of months ago now though, end November. They are definately good on the chew, i reckon, flavour all their own.
I usually fish in 10-15m, good fun on 20lb braid

Maybe u guys r right, they don't like the warmer water as much and go away a bit during the wet a little!
I always get the bigger trickies on the jigs as well, they seem to like them and slam em as soon as they hit the bottom!!
I won't complain catching Goldies or Jewies though during the Wet!!
Just can't wait to get out there again.
