The fisheries are out there with infra red cameras every year. TRG and sniffer dogs are unusual and cant think why they would waste that effort out there. Unless some of the TRG lads plans on fishing the place to them self when they plant some "gear" in eryone elses car and arrest the lot.

And yes I do think that it is a bit silly sending the fisheries out there tonight when it opens. They could have caught plenty of people last week.

CC, I'm pretty sure they were there on the weekend, as for the sniffer dog and TRG, I think someone needs to lay off the crack whoever came up with that.

I was there on sunday and there were people fishing the salt. The fuzz wasnt there then. No real reason to go tonight in my oppinion. Everyone expects them to be there on opening night.

On the other hand after checking some of there night vision gear out it is amazing what they pick up. It is wild checking out the crocs and everyone fishing at the same time. You see a lot of close encounters that people dont realise happen. They can pick people up live baiting and all that sort of stuff.

I presume the TRG would be out there becuase they get paid a shitload and are a virtually unused entity. i was chatting to them once out mickets, 6 of them there checking gun licenses???

As for the road condition, its atrocious!!! last time i went out there it was bitumen nearly all they way! :fubird:
