A mate and I had a good session of sight fishing late in the dry out at Yellow Waters.

We could see the bow waves moving around and were chucking riedys j-walkers at them. We were getting a hit on nearly every cast. Ended up landing around 40 with the best in the mid-80's. It is certainly a tactic I like to use these days.

Have seen a few cruising past the wharf from time to time, always in a group of 3 or so. I fish yellow waters pretty often and its amazing sight casting there.

Aye, they like sitting with their nose on shadow lines near some wharves, waiting for mullet to come along.

The old Crab Claw jetty was a classic for that, but that's a jewfish spot now ...
